Hezi Zhang
I am a 4th-year Ph.D. student in the Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) department of University of California San Diego (UCSD), advised by Prof. Yufei Ding. I got my M.S. in Computer Science from Georgia Institute of Technology (GT) and my B.S. in Physics from University of Science and Technology of China (USTC). My current research interests lie in quantum computing systems, including
Utilizing diverse hardware platforms (e.g., superconducting, photonics, neutral atom, trapped ion) and computation models (e.g., gate-based, measurement-based models)
Toward scalable architectures (e.g., quantum chiplet, short-range quantum data center, long-range distributed quantum computing)
